Interior design of the tattoo studio will get your creative juices flowing. The tattoo studio of the artist Lilith Urbanczyk is located in the space of the ground floor on Na Nábřeží Street in Havířov city. Thanks to the studio owner’s bold vision, a unique and vibrant interior came to life, immersing visitors in its creative atmosphere.
Designing the studio for my cousin and best friend was truly a joy for me. I aimed to reflect her personality in the interior, which meant that thoughts of minimalism were definitely not on the agenda for this design.
We initially entered bare spaces with an office ceiling and two white pillars. However, we already knew that the white space wouldn’t remain as it was.
The columns with cabinets helped us create an entrance area and divided the space into several sections. The turquoise reception helped to separate the tattooing space from the entrance and seating area. We placed seating opposite the entrance, with a striking rusty wall. There is located a space for drawing on the other side and a storage space remained behind the column.
We opted for fairly bold colors. While the interior’s diverse color scheme might have seemed excessively extravagant at the outset, the final execution exceeded our expectations and enhanced the studio’s creative atmosphere – dark blue mosaic-like columns, red cabinets and window frames, a turquoise reception, and softly pink walls. Opposite the entrance, a rusted texture predominates, and in the future, a neon heart will add a distinctive touch as the studio’s symbol. Curtains and screens ensure any needed privacy for the studio.
The last issue we faced was the unattractive office ceiling. We resolved this by installing a suspended corrugated cardboard ceiling. Over three weekends, three of us hung the corrugated ceiling using office clips and hooks for Christmas decorations on the supporting structure of the office ceiling. A day after completing the ceiling, a boiler exploded in the adjacent premises, causing a shockwave that shattered the display window. However, the cardboard ceiling remained undamaged.
Together with paintings and other interior elements, the ceiling of artist Lilith Urbanczyk’s tattoo studio in Havirov creates a unique atmosphere filled with colorful creativity and inspiration
