3) to provide relaxation, sport, entertainment and education
4) to increase interest and awareness about the local area
Urban and architectural solution
The meeting point consists of four cubical objects. The design and function of each cube is different. The objects are designed in natural colours in symbiosis with the surroundings. Access to objects is provided by a metal ramp made of lattice railing and metal grid. The main ramp is supported by four original pylons, the secondary ramps are supported by lattice columns. Steel truss evokes the atmosphere of the former cable car. All objects are raised above a ground level to avoid frequent flooding in the local area. Three cubes are located between the bicycle lane and closed to the Morava river. The last cube is located on the top of the Sandberg Hill.
VIEW POINT
